Dimensions Top Down Honeycomb system
With our honeycomb blinds, you have a choice of two different systems: the top down system and the top down & bottom up system. While putting together your Smartblinds, choose the system that suits your needs.

The top down system is 5,65 centimeter deep and 3,60 centimeter high. Please note: these are the dimensions of the system excluding the fabric. Also consider the parcel height, more information on parcel height can be found below.

Package height

When measuring the height of your window, it is important to take into account the package height.

Do you want to mount your Smartblinds in the window?
Give us the exact size of your window and we will make sure the pleated blind fits exactly in between. Also take into account the package height (see table below) in connection with possible obstacles such as turning and tilting windows and inward-swinging doors.

Do you want to mount your Smartblinds on the window?
Then measure the width and height of the window, with a small overlap. To determine the height, add the package height of your honeycomb blind (see table below) to the height of your window. Would you like the honeycomb blind to continue at the bottom? Then decide how many extra centimetres you want in height.

So you should not only consider the height of the system, it is also important to take into account the package height. Pay particular attention to this for turn and tilt windows and inward-swinging doors. It is important that you have enough space to install the system, but also that the package itself does not hang in the way.

Maximum width Honeycomb blinds
The minimum width for our top down pleated blinds is 60 centimetres.

For our top down & bottom up pleated blinds, the minimum width is 83.3 centimetres.
The maximum width for both types of pleated blinds is 300 centimetres.

Setting pleated blinds with Apple Homekit
Unlike most other window covering options, top-down bottom-up honeycomb pleated blinds have two moving rails under the top rail. These bottom and middle rails move up and down independently of each other, with a honeycomb fabric between them. This allows the lower part of the window to be covered for privacy, while the upper part remains open to let daylight through and keep a view to the outside.

Honeycomb pleated blinds powered by Eve MotionBlinds work with Apple HomeKit - directly from your iPhone. Although HomeKit does not yet offer specific functionality to control top-down bottom-up window coverings, you can make them work perfectly, by automating them with scenes.
